Stay Connected with CMLE: Updated Membership and New Opportunities

Central Minnesota Libraries Exchange (CMLE) is excited to introduce an updated membership process designed to strengthen connections, improve communication, and better support libraries across central Minnesota.

Our goal is to make it easier for libraries and organizations to stay connected with CMLE and take advantage of the resources, services, and opportunities available throughout our region. As part of these updates, we're asking school districts, libraries, and organizations to complete a 2026–27 CMLE Membership Agreement.

CMLE Membership: No Cost, No Expiration

The best part? CMLE membership is completely free and does not expire!

Whether you're part of a school library, public library, or another organization, CMLE membership helps keep you connected to a regional network dedicated to supporting libraries and the important work they do in their communities.

By completing the 2026–27 Membership Agreement, you'll help us maintain accurate membership information, strengthen connections throughout our region, and ensure your organization can continue accessing the opportunities CMLE provides.

Beginning with the 2027–28 year, membership will be required to participate in CMLE offerings and receive scholarships and grants. We encourage all eligible organizations to complete their membership agreement this year to ensure they can continue taking advantage of these opportunities.

Let's Connect! Schedule a CMLE Site Visit

We want to get to know you and your library better!

Throughout the year, CMLE will be making site visits to libraries across central Minnesota. These visits are an opportunity for us to connect with library staff, learn more about your spaces, hear about the work you're doing, and explore how CMLE can better support your library's needs.

We'll also share information about the no-cost services and resources available through CMLE, answer questions, and bring along some CMLE swag!
