How do I know if I’m a CMLE member?
If you work in an academic, public, school, or special library located in one of the following 12 counties, you’re a CMLE member! Our region includes: Aitkin, Benton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pine, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, and Wright.
Who can apply for a CMLE grant or scholarship?
Any library staff member or affiliated support organization (such as Friends groups) serving public, school, academic, or special libraries in CMLE’s 12-county region is eligible to apply.
When are scholorship and grant applications due, and how is funding awarded?
Applications are due by the 15th of each month and are reviewed during the first full week of the following month. Funding is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and recipients are limited to one grant per calendar year.

Multicounty, multitype library systems—like CMLE—are regional organizations that bring together academic, public, school, and special libraries to improve services through collaboration.
