Board of Trustees
The Governing Board of the Central Minnesota Libraries Exchange (CMLE) is responsible for fiscal oversight and policy-setting, ensuring the effective operation of the organization. The board consists of nine members, representing both citizens and member libraries from across the region. Public, school, academic, and special libraries each select one representative, while citizen members are appointed by the cooperating regional library boards of the Great River Regional Library (GRRL) and East Central Regional Library (ECRL) systems.
The CMLE Governing Board is led by an Executive Committee, which includes a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Officers are elected annually at the September meeting.
The board convenes on the second Wednesday of March, June, September, and December to discuss governance matters and advance CMLE’s mission of supporting regional libraries.
