Operational Info

CMLE is one of seven multicounty, multitype library systems in Minnesota, established in 1997 under Minnesota Statutes 134.351-134.353. It is primarily funded by Minnesota State Library Services, a division of the Department of Education.

Our diverse membership includes academic, public, school, and special libraries across Aitkin, Benton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pine, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, and Wright counties, working together to strengthen library services in Central Minnesota.
